Creative Visuals operate in accordance with an audited environmental management system (EMS) certified as compliant with Environmental System Standard ISO14001:215. In addition Creative Visuals have audited systems for OHS ISO45001:2018 and Quality Management System ISO9001:2015.
In accordance with our environmental management system we measure recycling efforts and track the path of our recyclable wastes from generational sources through to recycling outputs. This measurement enables us to monitor progress and achievements and provides for identifying continual improvements as is expected from our EMS and by our commitment to environmental sustainability in delivery of services.

The Process

Return
Displays are returned to Creative Visuals, Victoria, for recycling.

Sort
Returned displays are sorted into their appropriate recycling groups (e.g., Aluminium, Fabric Types A & B, Plastics Types A & B).

Decontamination
We remove all non-recyclable materials, ensuring only accepted ones go to the recycler. For example, aluminium recyclers reject pieces with steel rivets, so we remove them first.
04
Stockpile
To meet minimum weight requirements, we stockpile materials until the necessary thresholds are reached.
05
Send
Once the materials are ready, we arrange delivery or collection to certified recyclers.

Are there any costs for recycling Creative Visuals products?
- There is no cost for you (our clients) other than sending the displays to Creative Visuals head office in Victoria.
- Recycling our fabrics cost Creative Visuals per kilogram of accepted material, which is paid to the recycler.
- Our largest cost by far is the labour involved in sorting and decontaminating.
- Freight costs to send the materials to the appropriate recyclers within Victoria and to Queensland.
- We receive $ a per kg amount for recycling aluminium which we use to off-set some of the costs for our recycling program such as the labour.
